When people talk to him, they trust him. It's an odd feeling, probably. Like you've known him all your life, like he's the only person who'll ever understand everything about you. But he himself is almost completely incapable of trusting anyone. And though it's unclear whether it's him or the power, he also finds it extremely difficult to like or be even remotely fond of anyone. They never say the wrong things or anything he doesn't want to hear, and he most certainly doesn't either.

H I S T O R Y

Faith has had a very nice life. (They talk about him. They all say the same things.) He had a good childhood. (He loved stories. But they never understood why he hated Peter Pan.) He has loving parents. (They let him do anything. They trust him.) He has two older brothers (they let him in on all that they do) a younger sister (she tells him everything, things she won't tell her best friends), and a surprisingly large amount of close friends. (And Faith knows that they would die for him.)

Faith is 18 and lives in Sydney, with good grades but many expectations to live up to. He knows very vague details about the end of the world, though he isn't so sure if he really cares, at this point.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Faith doesn't tend to talk much. He just listens. People trust him, people like him. They trust his smile and his voice and everything about him and they tell him things like they've known him all their lives. So he listens.

He's cool, calm, often detached and reserved, actually preferring books and games and really anything at all to real people. He finds it extremely difficult to like anyone, even his family, and his closest friends are only his closest friends because they say that they are, think that they are. For all the secrets people trust him to keep, Faith puts faith in no one and keeps everything bottled up, safe. And because of all this, he doesn't really care about other people. As far as he's concerned they're only there to help him move forward, but they don't know-- they don't have to know, and he's not about to tell anyone.

When everybody smiles at you, smiles for you, you just don't know who to smile back to.

A P P E A R A N C E

Faith is shorter than average and skinny, with brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a lot of the same things, and because he's a bit shortsighted he sometimes wears glasses.
